Adding applications

An application is the system you're testing.

What we support

Type Coverage
Web applications Most web-based applications, including the Dynamics 365 apps
Windows desktop applications Selected applications. The list is growing, so ask us about yours

Is my desktop application supported?

We add Windows desktop applications regularly, so the supported list changes. Rather than publish a list that goes stale, email help@elevaite365.com with the application you want to test and we'll tell you where it stands, including whether it's already on the way.

Applications are added by elevaite365

Applications are licensed, so they can only be added by elevaite365 staff. You can't add one yourself from the Library page.

To have an application added to your instance, email help@elevaite365.com.

Requesting an application

Include the following in your request and we can usually set it up without coming back to you:

  • The application name. For example, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Business Central, Salesforce
  • Whether it's a web or Windows desktop application
  • The version you're on, if you know it, this is just a label
  • Which instance it's for, if your organisation has more than one
  • Who should be notified once it's ready

Once it's added, the application appears in the applications dropdown on the Library page, and you can get on with adding environments yourself.

Licensing

Each application on your instance is covered by your licence. If you need to test something new (a different D365 module, a non-Microsoft system, or a Windows desktop application) talk to us first. It may already be covered, and if not we'll tell you what changes.
